Stewart Milne Timber Systems (STMS) took MMC enquiries to the tune of a staggering £100m at Futurebuild.
And, according to sales director Christine Jones, the company hopes to convert 30% of those.
“We’ve had a fantastic response,” she said. “This is the biggest stand we’ve ever had at an exhibition.”
Ms Jones said the vastly increased number of visitors pre-registering for the event had encouraged the company to expand its presence.
“When we came last year we felt there was a buzz and there were quality delegates and visitors.”
Stewart Milne, which provided several speakers for the conference schedule, also wanted to leave student delegates with the impression that the timber frame industry was a sector in which they could work.
