Fork lift enters New World

New World Timber Frame has bought a Loadmac forklift for manoeuvring large timber frame components around the yard.

The Saffron Walden-based company decided on a V40 LPG truck with a lift capacity of 4,000kg.

New World director Chris Stringer said the forklift was bought to manoeuvre between narrow aisles in the yard while transporting 15m length beams.

The gas-powered truck was also chosen to help protect staff from harmful fumes in the workplace.
