Rowlinson, which designs, makes and sells garden buildings, last exhibited in 2004 and has since reshaped its manufacturing, distribution, product ranges and brand image, a company spokesman said.

Sales director Paul Taylor said: “Garden timber has evolved considerably in recent years and we have been busy making changes.”

Although details remain under wraps, Mr Taylor confirmed plans to use Glee at the NEC in September as the launchpad for several new product lines for the 2008 season.

Glee sales manager Matthew Mein said: “They have successfully re-invented themselves into a garden lifestyle brand.”
