The company has added new machinery to its facilities, including a beam saw from Mayer and a Gibbs Finishing Systems lipping machine, which it has said will reduce the lead time required to produce non-standard fire doors.
T Brewer incorporating Enfield Timber, as the newly-formed joint venture is to be known, has already stated that the merger of the two firms will improve the services and products it offers in the south-east, with Enfield adding that the location of its speciality doors division within the M25 will help contractors in London deal with issues specifically related to the capital, including the congestion zone.
