Schenkmann Piel Engineering (SPE) has set a new company record for dryer and grader installations after receiving 11 orders in the first half of the year.
SPE, part of the Dieffenbacher Group, completed orders in Russia, Poland, China, Romania, Latvia, Turkey and Venezuela during the period, with the Rimbunan Hijau Group, Weihua Hubei Weilibang, Syktyvkar Gagarin and Verzikopru-Turanlar Group amongst the wood-based panel manufacturers to have the equipment installed.
Fibre dryers, fibre graders and drum dryers made up the basis of the orders, and are to be used in the manufacturer of OSB, MDF and plywood.
According to SPE, the number of orders placed resulted from “the advanced technology and high availability of our worldwide installed equipment”, coupled with “the customised solutions we worked out together with the customers”.
