The North American Forest Products Conference is set to take place October 10-12 in San Diego, California at the Omni San Diego Hotel and will focus on planning the future of the industry on the continent.
And between November 28-30, the Renaissance hotel in Sao Paulo, Brazil will play host to the second Latin American Pulp and Paper Outlook Conference, which will feature the presentation of the first Latin American CE of the Year Award.
“These two conferences follow a record-breaking year,” said Rhiannon James van Beuningen, a vice-president at RISI.
“The 2006 North American Conference broke all prior attendance records and the inaugural Latin American Pulp and Paper Outlook Conference far exceeded our expectations.”
Ms van Beuningen added that RISI, a leading provider of information to the global forest products sector, was “looking forward to growth through the remainder of 2007 and beyond”.
