Growth in demand for CNC machines in the UK and Ireland has led to Masterwood (UK) appointing John Cookson and Dave Kennard as directors.

Masterwood has said that appointing Mr Cookson and Mr Kennard, area managers for the north-west and south-east respectively, as directors will allow the company to take advantage of their experience in the woodworking industry and continue to develop its sales.

“Sales of our panel and joinery machining centres in the UK and Ireland have been growing year-on-year for sometime now,” said managing director Russell Corlett.

“Their appointment as directors will strengthen the existing management teams and put Masterwood in a perfect position to take advantage of the numerous opportunities for growth that lie ahead.”

Chris Alexander has also been appointed to a director’s role with the company, taking on the position at Masterwood After Care Ltd, the company’s after-sales and service arm.
