“The chainless conveyor does involve a higher capital cost,” said Justin Peckham, managing director of Holtec UK agency Woodtech Machinery. “But you’re getting a lower noise and virtually maintenance-free operation.”
Also on the stand was a section from a Holtec V-shaped conveyor, the ejector on which can cope with logs being just 10cm apart.
