Amongst the equipment bought by Tech Doors is a Holzma beam saw, a Friz PUM100 profile wrapping line and foil slitter and a Brandt single-sided edgebander, all of which have helped improve colour and pattern matching and increased productivity according to the company.
Tech Doors, which produces products for kitchens, bedrooms and cabinets and had a turnover of £1.2m in 2006, added that Homag had been chosen to supply much of the machinery due to its “level of technical expertise” and the service and advice it offered.
The machinery investment has also led Tech Doors to upgrade a number of other facilities at its factory, including dust extraction and waste disposal equipment.
