Sent to new corporate and professional members who joined in the first 10 months of last year, the postal survey said the main reasons for joining were: technical information; keeping up to date with developments; timber information; and support and advice.
Market research manager Helen Daniels said the results – more than two-thirds of respondents said the association was meeting their expectations ‘well’ or ‘very well’ – were “reassuring”.
“Members must have total confidence in TRADA as an information provider and the survey has reinforced that accurate, accessible information is critical to developing and retaining membership.”
The new members’ survey will be repeated this year, with a membership satisfaction survey across all members in July “so that we can measure our further progress”, added Ms Daniels.
