Newport-based MTS is to distribute TJI joists and other engineered timber products from the Weyerhaeuser-owned iLevel Trus Joist range to its customers in South Wales and the south-west of England, which it has claimed will benefit from the new line.
“As a forward-looking company we believe that the move to the highly acclaimed TJI joist series will be of major benefit to our customers,” said MTS managing director Chris Worthy. “It also provides us the best option to further grow our engineered timber business.”
iLevel Service Partners are intended to “provide the close, local support to house builders” by employing and investing in skilled employees capable of designing engineered wood floor and roof solutions, as well as those in the yard capable of properly selecting and delivering the goods.
