More than 1,060 bundles of cedar shingles worth around £32,000 have been used to roof a rebuilt school in Ealing, west London.
The shingles were supplied by John Brash to the Grange Primary School, a single-storey building hidden away in a quiet leafy area.
Ipwich-based specialist roofers GHB Roofing Ltd was impressed with the 40-year timber treatment guarantee which came with the product.
The school project is due for completion in September.
