The National Floor Show in Harrogate saw a 5% dip in visitor numbers, which organisers attributed to the flooring trade enduring challenging times.
Post-show research to all pre-registered non-attendees will be undertaken to see what can be done to entice visitors back for next year.
“However, it was encouraging to see that 40% of the event has been rebooked for next year which will no doubt increase over the next few weeks indicating that good business was carried out onsite,” organisers said.
Timber flooring exhibitors included James Latham, BSL Hardwood Floors and Parador.
