Norvik Group has completed negotiations to acquire Jarl-Timber.

Jarl will be the first Swedish company in the Norvik Group, which owns sawmills and timber processing plants in the Baltics including redwood mill VIKA-Wood, Byko Lat and CED.

Annual production of the group, including Jarl-Timber, will reach more than 750,000m3 this year and is expected to pass 1 million m3 in the near future.

“Jarl-Timber is a strategically important addition to the group, with an excellent reputation in the market,” said Jon-Helgi Gudmundsson, Norvik’s president and CEO.
