The Welsh took home the trophy in the George and Dragon Golf Challenge, despite being outnumbered by two to one by their opponents.
The showdown between England and Wales, held at Bristol and Clifton golf course, raised £2,500 for the Timber Trades’ Benevolent Society.
The English team, sponsored by Taylor Maxwell, was captained by Ian Attwood of International Plywood, while the Premier Forest Products Welsh side was led by Nicky Ambrozejczyk of Robert Price.
