Simon Thomas has joined Roger Haydock & Co Ltd in the role of sales director, and David Shacklady has been appointed as commercial director with particular responsibility for the procurement of forest products.
The appointments follow the retirement of Ian Bennett who left the company in July after 24 years as hardwood director.
Mr Thomas has extensive experience of clear softwood, which will complement the company’s successful softwood speciality division.
