Kingspan Off-Site Ltd had pictures of its now almost iconic Lighthouse concept house emblazoned over its stand.
The prototype, which stands at the BRE Innovation Park and is made from structural insulated panels (SIPs), will be turned into commercial reality next year, according to Joe Martoccia, of Potton Ltd, one of Kingspan Off-Site’s divisions.
He said three different house footprints were being developed up to a maximum of 3,000ft2. Potton hopes to roll out the Lighthouse commercially by the middle of 2008.
Kingspan Off-Site displayed its whole range of off-site build systems on the stand, including open panel timber frame, SIPs, Optima closed panel and lightweight steel.
