Leaderflush Shapland’s range of Designer doorsets coated with PermaSkin are to be used as part of a showcase of “innovative state-of-the-art energy efficient homes of the future”.

The internal doorsets are being used in a house being built by BASF, which markets the PermaSkin thermoplastic film wrapping process, for the Creative Energy Homes Project at Nottingham University’s School of the Built Environment.

Leaderflush Shapland said the use of PermaSkin on door frames helps to drastically reduce on-site preparation time, as well as provide protection during transit and while in use.
