PVCu and aluminium window and door suppier Aluseal has set up a timber windows division.
New Leaf Timber Windows has been set up by Newport Pagnell-based Aluseal after the company was impressed with engineered timber windows from TimberWindows.com.
“Adding timber means we can now offer the homeowner more choice,” said Aluseal manager Craig Brown.
“We can concentrate on the domestic and retail market now. It is early days and the jobs we’ve taken so far are modest but the order values are much higher.
“We’ve exhibited at several shows already and homeowners love the idea of timber windows because they’re traditional and add value to their properties. We expect our sales of timber to grow significantly.
