In a restructuring of its marketing function, the British Woodworking Federation (BWF) has made three new appointments and promoted Ruth Soundarajah from her role as manager of the Wood Window Alliance to BWF marketing director.
Malcolm Dyer joins as marketing manager for the BWF-CERTIFIRE Fire Door & Doorset Scheme. He will help members increase sales and educate the construction industry about the importance of specifying third-party certified fire doors. Formerly managing director of marketing agency UK Design, Mr Dyer has more than 20 years marketing experience. He will also havesome unique insight from 29 years as a retained fire officer.
Ruth Oloyede joins the BWF from Binatone Telecom as marketing manager for the Wood Window Alliance. She will continue to promote wood windows as a sustainable and attractive solution to specifiers, architects and consumers.
Leah Williams has been appointed as training manger for the WITForum. She will further develop the work of the WITForum and look after the BWF’s Timber Training Programme, a three-module programme designed to promote understanding of working with wood.
