Stewart Milne has received a CBE in the New Year Honours List for his services to the housebuilding industry in Scotland.
Mr Milne is chairman and chief executive of the Stewart Milne Group, which includes Stewart Milne Timber Systems and the Sigma house design, amd started the company in 1975 as a housebuilding firm. He is also chairman of Aberdeen Football Club.
“I am personally delighted to have received this recognition but see it as an accolade that belongs to the team of people around me, my family, the place I grew up in and the people I grew up with – I am delighted to share it with them,” said Mr Milne.
