Richard Burbidge has invested in an Intorex LNX-1500 fully automatic CNC sanding machine to supplement its existing sanding capabilities.
The LNX-1500 will be used to finish newels and balustrades and features seven spindles and two CNC copiers that slide over a cross-sectional saddle with tempered and rectified linear guides via recirculating ball bearings.
The machine forms part of a £150,000 investment in sanding machinery and follows on from the initial installation of an Intorex LAM-13000 fully automatic hydraulic sanding machine and upgrades to other machinery.
