Townsend Timber is on target to record a 15% growth in turnover after “a fantastic year”, according to owner Simon Notley.
The Dorset-based timber firm, which supplies outdoor structures, fencing and other garden products, said that it expects to achieve turnover of more than £730,000 up from £630,000 the previous year.
Mr Notley, who runs the firm with the support of his father Bill Notley, said that the success of the firm had been down to the commitment of its 12 employees.
“It really has been a fantastic year and thanks must go to our skilled team for their continued hard work and commitment,” said Mr Notley.
“We have already worked on some excellent projects this year…and there are some very exciting growth opportunities ahead.”
Projects that the firm have worked on include providing an oak frame for the Kingcombe Visitor Centre in Dorchester, a timber-framed sports pavilion for the Bridport Bowling Club and fencing for a 14-house development in Weymouth.
