Pasquill Roof Trusses Ltd has supplied engineered timber elements for the roof of the recently opened Culloden battlefield visitor centre.
Pasquill’s engineered timber I-beams were specified in the construction of the green sedum roof.
“We are extremely pleased that Morrison Construction has integrated our roof beams into their prestigious project,” said Pasquill sales director Brian Kille. “The use of these beams has ensured a roof structure that is not only robust and has significant sustainable benefits, but also helps to ensure a time and waste-efficient build.”
OSB from SmartPly Europe Ltd was also used in the roofing and structural wall partitions of the visitor centre, with Arch‘s Non-Com Exterior and Dricon fire retardant treatments protecting the exterior and interior timber cladding.
