Progressive Solutions International’s (PSI) new version of its bisTrack software has been designed to offer solutions for business issues not software ones, according to director of sales Arthur Duffy.

Existing customers and potential clients were shown a demonstration of bisTrack 2 at Microsoft‘s headquarters in Reading last week, with similar events due to take place at the Manchester Museum of Science and Industry this week.

A number of new modules have been designed to enhance bisTrack 2’s offering, including Scan Track, Web Track, eBusiness, Intelligence and Mobile functions.

Scan Track allows documents produced or altered outside the bisTrack system to be scanned and automatically logged within the system for quick reference and easy access via a related documents function. Sales team member Johnathan Pascall said that the ability to scan and file documents into the bisTrack system was an important development for businesses and their capacity to deal with client requests for information.

Barrylee Cyples, another member of the sales team, added that the Web Track module was able to satisfy different users’ e-business needs as it could be tailored to suit their online commerce requirements, with both a full web-based trading program and an easy-to-use customer portal.

Mr Duffy added that the latest version of bisTrack was helping to take “data to a different dimension”, with improved reporting and electronic data interchange capabilities evident through the eBusiness, Intelligence and Mobile functions, with real-time, to-the-minute information a key element.
