North East Wales Mind helps people in Flintshire and Wrexham recover from mental health problems and stay emotionally healthy.
“Our team of employees is very dedicated to raising money for charity and this year have voted to raise funds for North East Wales Mind,” said Steve Morgan, managing director of Zest. “The charity’s face-to-face, phone, and online services offer vital support to people dealing with mental health issues, which is sadly needed more now than ever before.
“Every year our employees challenge themselves to come up with innovative ways to raise money for the chosen charity and there is a host of exciting events planned,” said Mr Morgan. “From an abseil down Liverpool Cathedral to taking part in the Manchester Marathon and the Chester Santa Dash, there are a number of physical challenges planned as well as tried and trusted favourites such as various raffles and a quiz night. We’re all really looking forward to getting started and hope to raise as much money as we can for this very worthwhile charity. A target of £10,000 for 2024 has been set.”
Over the last 14 years, Zest employees have raised over £150,000 for a variety of charities alongside colleagues in the P&A Group.
