Simpson Strong-Tie has launched a one-day training course to help its distributor network get the most out of the Quik Drive auto-feed screw driving system.
The Quik Drive Academy includes an overview and theory briefing on using the system, followed by hands-on training. The day culminates in a competitive team event.
All distributors attending the event also receive a pack of sales material and presentations to use on site when promoting Quik Drive to end users.
“We found the product training extremely informative and we all learnt some valuable new information,” said Paul Greenslade, national sales manager at Quik Drive distributor Young Black.
“To take salesmen off the road for a day needs serious consideration in this competitive business environment, yet the day we spent with Simpson was not only extremely instructive – particularly for new members of our sales team – but the training involved elements of fun and worked a treat.”
Simpson Strong-Tie national sales manager Rob Phillips said the Quik Drive Academy was an essential part of the company’s commitment to help distributors get the most out of sales of the system.
