The British Woodworking Federation (BWF) has relaunched its website to provide an interactive forum for its members and their services.

The new-look site includes a supplier search function; dedicated areas for the BWF’s schemes, such as the Timber Window Accreditation and Certifire Fire Door and Doorset schemes; and an interactive area for the Woodworking Industry Training Forum.

The BWF also plans to take its Specifiers’ Guide online, providing its members with “the opportunity to reach the increasing number of potential customers whose first port of call for services is the internet”.

“We have designed the new website to connect with members and to create an online platform to promote their services and more generally the use of wood and joinery products in construction,” said BWF marketing director Ruth Soundarajah.

“There is more to come as we develop this increasingly important communication channel to meet our members’ and their customers’ needs.”
