The generosity of Scottish Woodlands Ltd (SWL) staff has benefited a cancer treatment centre by £7,250.
The money has been donated to the oncology unit at St John’s Hospital, Livingston, West Lothian, where SWL receptionist Karen Thomson is currently receiving treatment.
The money was raised via an auction and raffle at the staff dinner dance held at the Crieff Hydro Hotel, Perthshire following the company’s annual general meeting. Staff contributed more than £3,000 and the company made a corporate donation of £4,000.
