Builders merchant Ridgeons has appointed the current group finance director Alan Pealling as managing director of Ridgeons Forest Products.
The newly-created post reflects the major investment being made by the specialist in timber and wood-based products division in its own future operation and the growth of the Ridgeons outlets it serves across East Anglia.
Forest Products supplies trade customers throughout the home counties, Midlands and east of England, as well as the 21 Ridgeons branches selling to both trade and retail purchasers. Mr Pealling will retain his current director responsibilities within the Ridgeons Group, where he has been a key figure in its growth and investment plans since 1996.
