Ian Freeman and Robert Grant have joined Smee Timber to create, launch and head the new clear grade softwood division.
Mr Freeman, who has 25 years’ experience in the timber trade, is in charge of the new division, while Mr Grant, who has developed a strong customer base in clear grade softwoods over the past 20 years, completes the team.
Smee Timber has made this commitment to the clear grade softwood market due to continued demand for sustainable and certified timber from the market. The company offers clear grade softwoods in species such as western red cedar, Douglas fir, and Siberian larch, as well as Thermowood.
