Richard Burbidge Ltd has appointed Steve Clarke as operations director, in a move that the company says signals a new era for its manufacturing operation.
Mr Clarke was previously general manager for Novelis, formerly Alcan, a leader in aluminium rolled products, supplying customers in high-value markets such as packaging, automotive and construction.
During his 19 years with the company he held several senior positions, including responsibility for production management, environment, health and safety, engineering and supply chain.
Commenting on the appointment, chief executive of Richard Burbidge, Steve Underhill, said: “Steve’s vast experience with a global manufacturer will bring a new dimension to our operations that should help drive forward our growth.”
