Suki Bains has been appointed UK sales manager for Kurawood.
Floated on AIM in 2007, Kurawood plc is targeting the UK building trade and DIY market with its Vecowood modified timber.
Mr Bains, a member of the Institute of Wood Science with 17 years’ experience in the UK timber industry, including sales manager roles at Eastern Hardwood and EC Forest Products, will work across both Kurawood timber and finished products, including flooring, mouldings and stairparts.
The company recently won a major supply contract with flooring retailer Floors-2-Go Ltd which will initially stock three of its lines in the chain’s 135 stores in the UK.
