Eleco plc has merged its Consultec and Gang-Nail Systems businesses.
The company said the combined business would be able to use a shared knowledge of the timber engineering market to reach a wider audience.
Consultec supplies estimating, on-site management and timber engineering software, while Gang-Nail also supplies software as well as truss connector plates and the Ecojoist floor system.
Consultec managing director Jason Ruddle has been appointed Gang-Nail Systems sales and business development director.
The combined business is now known as Gang-Nail Systems, but the Consultec brand is being retained for Consultec software.
