A new website is aiming to further the knowledge of the benefits of using timber and other wood-based products in Northern Ireland.
Wood-NI’s new website, www.wood-ni.com, has been designed to communicate the benefits of timber as a sustainable and versatile material capable of reducing energy consumption. It is aimed at architects, specifiers and other users.
It includes news and information on the use of timber in Northern Ireland, as well as networking opportunities, study tours and other events endorsed by Wood NI.
“Wood-NI is delighted to introduce our new website, which aims to highlight the many new aspects of timber usage which has led to the timber industry becoming so vibrant in recent times,” said Seamus Sands, chairman of Wood-NI’s product promotions committee.
“We would also hope that the site will improve public knowledge about the versatility of the product and educate younger generations of the benefits of using wood as a sustainable material.”
