Companies on the Timber Supply Panel for the London 2012 Olympics will gather for a meeting with the Olympic Delivery Authority (ODA) on January 15.

The meeting, originally intended to take place before Christmas, will provide an update on timber supply arrangments for the Games’ construction programme.

Sixteen timber companies were named last November as winning places on the panel, which is seen as vital in helping the ODA delivery its sustainability plan on the Olympic construction site.

The panel is a tool to help police timber supply to ensure all products are certified legal and sustainable.
