Roof window market leader Velux has been cleared in a European Commission investigation into anti-competitive practices.
The manufacturer was the subject of raids at several of its sites last autumn, but a lengthy investigation by the commission has resulted in no charges.
Rival roof window company Fakro originally wrote to Polish anti-trust authorities in 2006, complaining about alleged anti-competitive practices by Velux, including exclusionary rebates and other commercial practices to keep retailers from stocking other roof window products.
“The Velux Group supports free competition and appreciates the work performed by the competition authorities,” Velux said in a statement.
