Neil Richards has joined Progressive Solutions in the new role of services and support director.
He will head a team dedicated to providing a proactive and expert service to Progressive’s existing customer base of timber companies and builders merchants. “My aim is that we provide not only outstanding support but also strong account and project management to our existing customers,” said Mr Richards.
He has more than 18 years’ experience in the IT industry. He has worked as technical support manager at a software house and for the past nine years with Hewlett Packard, where he was head of the UK pre-sales division, and for the past two years UK sales manager for Technology Services, managing the sales of service contracts to HP’s small and medium size business customers.
Mr Richards said he was excited about joining a company which was actively growing and investing. “Businesses are depending on IT more and more. So we’re in a strong position to provide a service which will not only support them through the current difficult times, but will also help them bring new ideas and long term plans to fruition,” he said.
