Essex-based roof truss and timber frame manufacturer Flight Timber Products has invested heavily in new roof truss fabrication plant in preparation for the eventual turnaround in the general economy.

The company, which recently moved to new premises, has also added to its product portfolio by investing in metal-web joist fabrication equipment.

“This enables us to be ready for the resurgence in trade as and when it happens,” said director Gary Kent. “If we are to believe the optimism that is slowly returning to the housing market, it won’t be long before it starts filtering through to the building trade – and Flight will be ready.”
