A Humber contract-personnel agency has been opened by ABP Connect – a division of Associated British Ports (ABP) – to support its operations in the region.
Trading as ABP Connect Cargoflow Contract Personnel – Humber, the business will support core port operatives at various Humber ports.
Additional staff will be provided at times of peak demand and all non-permanent employees will be required to undertake vocational and health and safety training as part of their recruitment and development.
The business will be managed by Ingrid Davies, formerly commercial director of ABP’s stevedoring subsidiary, Northern Cargo Services Ltd.
The business has been modelled on ABP Connect Cargoflow – Southampton’s contract-personnel agency.
