Södra Timber has expanded its presence in the Netherlands by becoming a co-owner of SMARTT Timber Sales.
The company started marketing Södra Timber’s wood products in the Netherlands on July 1.
“We want to have a local presence in all our main markets so that we can develop business relationships with our customers,” said Peter Nilsson, president of Södra Timber.
“The change will therefore be conducted in close collaboration with Södra Timber’s existing customers.”
Södra sees the Netherlands as a priority market.
