Westgate Joinery and Champion Timber are both celebrating medal success at the Hampton Court Flower Show.
An RHS Gold Medal was won by the Rain Chain Garden, designed by Wendy Allen and co-sponsored by Westgate Joinery and Hadlow College.
The garden, which also won the Best Sustainable Garden category, featured a timber-clad house wall with door and windows made of Accoya modified wood – all made by Sussex-based Westgate Joinery.
The rear wall will now be rebuilt as a summerhouse, which will be auctioned off to the highest bidder.
A Silver Gilt Medal was won by the Sadolin Nature to Nurture Garden, sponsored by Sadolin and Champion Timber.
The Surrey-based merchant supplied FSC-certified softwood decking, posts and joists for the project, designed by Philippa Pearson.
