The drafting of a new forest code in Russia has sparked protests from Greenpeace.
The environmental group said the code was underdeveloped and did not take into account specialist and public opinion.
Greenpeace also said the draft did not stipulate clear rules of the privatisation or forests and public control over privatisation processes.
