Timber frame machinery specialist Weinmann was out to win over small and medium-sized house manufacturers to its Combi Wall System WEK 120 solution.
The Combi combines both framing station and multi-function bridge to perform 10 jobs on one machine – operated by just one person.
Aimed at companies with limited factory space, the WEK 120 performs stud clamping, cutting, automated panel squaring, routering for openings, ink-jet marking and automated outfeed.
Speed is 0.5-1m/min, with standard machine specification able to cater for a frame thickness of up to 200mm and timber thickness of 80mm.
