Forest Garden has installed a new panel maker machine at its Hartlebury headquarters to meet increased demand for its fencing products.

The new machine, which was supplied by Swindon-based Young Black Ltd, will be used to manufacture both Forest’s close-board and feather-edge panels in various sizes.

By automatically nailing the panels before capping and ejecting them for treatment, Forest says the new machine will offer clients “consistent quality” along with increased capacity to scale up production as required.

Peter Bytheway, operations director at Forest Garden, said: “We’ve already seen an upturn in demand for our products this year and, with more people deciding to improve their property and gardens rather than moving house this year, we expect this trend to continue meaning this investment could not have come at a better time.”
