Specifiers now have the latest supplier information on certified fire doors in the form of the new directory for the British Woodworking Federation (BWF) Certifire Fire Door and Doorset Scheme.
Certifire members have increased by 31% since 2006, the last time the directory was published.
The BWF hopes the directory will become the first port of call for specifiers looking for third party certificated fire doors.
Certifire aims to increase fire doors standards, help members increase sales and educate the construction industry about the importance of third party certification of fire doors as passive fire protection systems.
More than 200 members are now part of the scheme, representing the majority of fire doors sold in the UK.
