Chris Schofield, service engineer with Leadermac UK Ltd, died on August 16. He was 52.
Mr Schofield spent all of his 32-year working life in the woodworking industry and joined Leadermac UK Ltd at the beginning of 2001. Previously he had worked for Thomas Robinson & Sons Ltd in Rochdale, Wadkin Ltd in Leicester, Wadkin USA, Wadkin Asia in Malaysia, SCM GB in Nottingham and Rye Machinery in High Wycombe.
He was well known throughout the industry and had a wealth of knowledge and experience in all aspects of woodworking machinery.
Mr Schofield was known for his kind nature and his love of international cuisine. He is survived by his wife Jean whom he met and married while working in Malaysia.
