An online credit forum, backed by The Timber Trade Federation (TTF), has been launched by Graydon UK Ltd.
The forum has been set up following pressure from the industry for a robust credit system after ongoing issues with credit insurers over the past two years.
It is designed to provide companies with information on current and potential customers, allowing members to report credit concerns. The alerts will be supported by a team of investigating analysts.
“The industry has a real and immediate need for a service of this nature,” said TTF chief executive John White.
