Shropshire-based Traditional Products has taken delivery of its second diesel powered Samuk SF30D forklift, equipped with sideshift.
The moulded and turned wooden stair component manufacturer bought its first Samuk forklift in 1993. It recently had to go in for repair after clocking up more than 8,000 hours service and a second forklift was hired while it was out of action.
On its return, the company used both forklifts on its Gobowen site for a time and managing director John Watson said: “It soon became clear that two were definitely better suited for our application than one.”
Samuk forklifts range in capacity from 1.5 tonnes to 8 tonnes and prices from £10,500-42,000.
