Premier Forest Products has announced that its Swedish Spruce Plywood supplier Vanerply has achieved PEFC chain of custody certification for all its product.
Premier purchasing director Terry Edgell said that the PEFC accreditation gave the Swedish company the “third party credibity that customers can rely on”.
“Everyone knows that Sweden pioneered sustainable forest management and Vanerply’s record in this field was already exemplary,” he said.
Vanerply’s BS5268 listed plywood is supplied in the UK exclusively via Premier, which says the manufacturer is now aiming to complete FSC chain of custody certification too “for sometime in t he New Year”.
